Yard waste runs March – December only. Bulk pickup available on regular trash days for Disposal Services villages (call ahead for metal items) or by appointment for Patriot Disposal.

Yard Waste Guidelines
March – December only
- Use biodegradable paper lawn & leaf bags or approved bins labeled "Yard Waste"
- Bags must weigh less than 50 lbs
- Tree limbs cut to 4 ft maximum length
- Maximum 10 bundles (50 lbs each)
Prince William County requires all residents to separate yard waste from trash.
Collection Rules
All villages
- Bins must be curbside by 6:00 AM
- Place bins out no earlier than dusk the evening before pickup
- Store trash cans out of view and off the street on non-collection days
